You are given three resistors of 2 ohms, 4 ohms and 6 ohms.With the help of these resistors, how can you get a resultant resistance of (1)12 ohms and (2)3 ohms?

1)for 12ohms -all 3 resisters are in series. R=2+4+6=12

2)for 3 ohms- 2ohm +4ohms in series ,and 6 ohms parallel to them.              1\R=1\(2+4)+1\6=1\3

R=3
