You are given two similar bars.One is a a magnet and other is of soft iron.How will you distinguish and identify them.?

as there is already a magnet in one of those bars,it would pull the iron bar towards itself. so whichever bar is pulling a bar towards itself more,that is the magnet and the other is the soft iron.

You can identify them by holding them above a few metal pins. The bar on which the pins stick on to is a magnet while the other is the soft iron.
