Distilled water should have a pH of about 7 and conductivity less than 1 micromohos and/otherwise Nil TDS. Check all the three with the help of a pH meter with glass electrode or any other method for pH, coductivity with conductivity meter and TDS by evaporating 25 ml distilled water or from a TDS meter and decide.
