Explanation:

Hate is the absence of Love, just as darkness is the absence of light.

When Love is absent, destruction occurs. When it is present, creation occurs. This world could not exist without love. (If you believe in God: If in the beginning there was hate, that would be the end. But in the beginning was love, and it created our universe.) If you don’t call love God or dont want to think of it existentially, you can still see that anything people created was created in the presence of love, even if hate was around it. But the point is hate doesn't create things. Hate destroys so its easy to look at it and think its powerful. But again, what created the things that hate destroys? Love. What we think is hate is not pure hate, because pure hate would be complete destruction therefore existence would cease.

People might think hate is powerful only because it draws from love to destroy. Think about this: How do you come to hate something or someone? You first had love for it for you to feel strongly in hate towards it. Hate twists love for the purpose of destruction of what that love created.

Example: You hate things and people you once loved but betrayed you. How did they betray you? Either they acted in hate or you perceived hate. Hate causes more hate, and since hate causes destruction, that destruction leads to more destruction. Somewhere, there was an absence of love, and thats what caused that progression of hate. But none of us act in pure hate. We notice the absence of love and act in counterproductive hate at first. Once it is realized hate is not productive, love rebuilds. If it is not realized, that relationship is destroyed.

The fact that life still exists, means love is more powerful than hate. Love is the force of life. Choose love.
