My mother is the person who has the most impact on my life, and she made me a better person. My mother has many good qualities and values and being a strong woman, supportive, and spiritual is the most important description of her personality.
My mom is the strongest person I never saw. She has five children that she raised on her own. She used to work very hard to provide my family and me anything we need. She never complained about her life. When she was sometimes tired from work, she still makes time for her family and makes sure that we have done our homework. I learned from my mother that if I worked hard, I will get what I want. She always said, “you will not get anywhere without hard work”. In our work, a lot of people complain about small things. They want to have everything without giving any sweat.
I learned from my mother, to be honest, and to believe in God. If I have to make any big decision, I always asked my mom for advice because she has wisdom and experience. I know she will tell me the truth even if it is not pretty but with kindness and without any judgment.
“God willing,” these are two words that my mother often spoke. She has a positive spirit and she believes in God. She always said, “treat everybody the way you want to be treated, and never take for granted the talent that God has given you”. My mother is a very proud person, and she is bearing dignities. Anyone’s who knows her respect her.
Role Models to people are celebrities or someone who’s an athlete. Well I don’t see those people be real role models. My definition of a role model is someone who has always been there, helps you and helps themselves through struggles, your number 1 supporter and will have your back in life no matter what. Yeah, I have someone like that in my life and actually lives’ with me. My mother. She is a strong, great supporter, loving & helps others before she helps herself. Growing up, I’ve always looked up to her because with all the struggles she still manages to keep a smile on her face and keep life going on. She’s always telling me “Make me proud chels”, which I intend to do and not let her down.
My mom didn’t finish high school, instead, she got her GED. She also didn’t finish college because she had me. Getting my education completed is a big deal with my mom. She didn’t want to see her child go through the same problems that she did. Having a high school diploma makes my mom proud because her child achieved something great. The school was a big challenge for me once I got to high school. Public school is where I went all my life; she wanted the best education and environment for me going into high school. Catholic school was. Most of the girls there are used to catholic school because they come from one, but not me it was like a new world for me. The biggest challenge was the money situation. My dad and mom are supposed to pay the tuition half and half. That happened freshman year, but after that, my mom started paying full tuition on her own.
