subject : the sale of alcohol to under-age people

DEAR sir/mam
Iam Harshita I read your article given in the newspaper . I also thought about it and now know that it is a serious matter to think .I just read that there is a sale of alcohol to underage people .

There is a serious problem of alcohol drinking. The people under 18 years whether boys or girls start drinks . Alcohol drinking causes Cancer, it kills . yesterday only I read a news in the newspaper of Hindustan Times

A boy named Anupam of 18 years was found dead near a tree late night due to heart attack .
the problem was that night he drank too much that he fell down and fainted and took his last breath.

Drinking is a serious problem in India the shopkeepers give alcohol to any age person to earn the money even though knowingly that they are very small to drink .so all the alcohol shops should be closed and there should be and rule by government that if anyone give alcohol to below the children of 24 they should be fined and jailed according to me .

There is my kind request to all the people of India that please raise voice against the sale of alcohol because many people die every year due to alcohol . I hope that you will write an good article about the sales of alcohol to underage persons

Thank you
yours faithfully

Sir

Subject: Sale of alcohol to underage people

I would like to draw the kind attention of all the authorities concerned towards the above–mentioned problem through the columns of your esteemed daily. It has been my observation for quite some time now that many young people who are consuming alcohol are still in teens and some are around twenty. The government vending shops located in almost every residential colony market, do not even ask for identification or age proof.

If ever they do so, they are easily bribed by a few hundred rupees. This sale of liquor to under–aged people leads to many of the problems our country is facing today. Youths who drink together do not know when to stop or how much to consume and this often leads to intoxication, uncontrollable behaviour, emotional problems, etc. I shall be grateful if this letter is given an appropriate space in your newspaper.

Yours faithfully

Hashim
