Subject: Stray Animals Causing Traffic Jams and Accidents
Sir:
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I want to express my deep anguish over the issue of stray animals causing traffic jams and accidents on roads. There are hundreds of abandoned cows, bulls, and horses roaming aimlessly on roads. During the traffic hours these animals not only cause traffic jams but also accidents. One of my friends was badly injured in an accident caused by a stray bull.
Through the columns of your reputed daily, I appeal to the people, the Animal Welfare Societies, and the concerned Ministry and government authorities to work concertedly to take care of these animals. They should b caught and sent to animal rehabilitation centers. After all they are our fellow partners in existence. It is our responsibility to look after them. I hope you will help me in sensitize the people as well as the concerned authorities.
Thanking you,
Yours truly,
Jane
