Twenty years ago , he went to Chicago to make his fortune while I stayed in New York City. We were very sad to part. But before parting we promised each other that after twenty years we will meet in the restaurant where we last met.
In these 20 years you know I became a police officer. few days ago our department received a warrant to arrest a criminal. I went to the place at the right time i.e. 10:00 pm and found a man standing there. I asked who he was. he said that he came from Chicago to meet his old friend Jimmy after twenty years. Then he lighted his cigar through which I looked at his face and recognised him as the criminal whom I was asked to arrest. I left without telling him that I was Jimmy. Then I sent another police officer to arrest him as I didn't had the heart to arrest my dear friend but I had to do my duty. he went there and Bob mistook him as me. but when he saw his face in light, he came to know that the man is not Jimmy. Then the police officer arrested him and gave him a letter from me telling him that the police officer who came earlier was Jimmy and I was not willing to arrest him.
