It was an eventful day today. I saved a girl today from drowning in the nearby river. It was approching evening and I had gone for a stroll. I love being by the riverside towards evening due to sunset, the sound of river, peace and soft chirping of birds and amphibians. There were few other people besides me at the bank. I was sitting at the edge, on the bench looking at the river when I heard a big splash. There I saw a girl drowning and her mother shouting for help from the bank of the river. I know swimming, so i was not really scared of that, but saving a life I had never thought I will be able to do so. But without even thinking twice, I jumped and swam towards the girl to save her. Luckily, she found her breath and held onto me, scared. Her mother thanked me and told that girl to be careful next time.
