28 August,Mumbai: Like many Indians, people of Sunshine Helios also celebrated Janmashtami. There are 70-80 families live in Sunshine Helios apartment.
Every family decorated their home. Their children. Many of children have become Balkrishna on that day. I was also one of them. Everyone was super excited for the festival.
There is a temple at the centre apartment in which a small cradle decorated by people Bal Krishna. In front of temple There was beautiful Rangoli drawn by girls of apartment.
Everyone from apartment dressed like Gopala and Gavalans. People offered Puja to lord Krishna. Some girls performed dance play on Raslila of lord Krishna. After Puja there was dinner party which included favourite dishes of lord Krishna.
Krishna Janmashtami is one of the largest festival in India. It comes in August or September.
