Dear Diary:
I had a great time at the adventurous camp organized by our school in collaboration with Sherwood School at Nainital. This was a unique camp far away from the din and crowd of the city. The pleasant and refreshing weather rejuvenated us. I enjoyed camping out and trekking expedition. The trekking along a stream was so wonderful!
While trekking, we at times came so close to the river that we could not resist the temptation of wading into its chilled water. We dared not go farther than the shallow water, as the current in the middle was so strong. The scenic beauty of the surroundings and the refreshing water of the stream just refreshed our body, mind and soul. I learnt many new things during this expedition. At times, the trekking trail became quite arduous; I really had to focus my mind and body to overcome the obstacles. I learnt to be self-reliant. Sleeping in the sleeping bag in tent in the open, without the comforts and luxuries of home was another challenge. By the evening I got so tired, that sleep came so easily and smoothly. Early in the morning, we were woken up by the chirping of the birds. I feel each human being must go on such adventurous expeditions to learn lessons in courage, time-management, and self-reliance. I will always cherish the memories and experience of this summer camp.
Besides these wonderful experiences in the lap of nature, I also learnt dance, creative writing, and public speaking skills also. The hospitality of Sherwood School was just awesome!

dear diary
today i return from my camp . it is very joyful camp and adventurous camp. we goes to forest for our camp. i went there with my friends, uncle, sister, brother,cousin. we enjoy there very much . we started from my uncles home at 8 am and reached there at 10 pm . we are very tired because it is very far from our town. so after taking food we sleep . next day all of us take bath and i and my friend shriya went to collect some fruits. we collect apples bnanas etc. we played games . we saw lion elephants birds etc. at night my uncle told us a story . it was very scared story. then we all sleep . and next day we came back to home. it was very wonderful experience. i share my experience with my grandpa.
