GIVEN:
Speed = 50km/hr
Distance = 150km

TO FIND: time
S=D/t => t= D/S
t= 150/50 = 3 hrs

Now, if t=2.5hrs
Speed =?
=> S=D/t
=> S= 150/2.5 = 60 km/hr
Hence, you need to drive 10km/hr faster to get there

Given: Distance between your and your cousin's house = 150 km

           Average speed = 50 km/h

           Time limit given to reach cousin's house = 2.5 hours

           Initial speed = 50 km/h

To find: The speed at which you will travel to reach in 2.5 hours

Solution: According to the given question,

We need to calculate the speed at which you can cover the distance of 150 km in 2.5 hours

Using Speed formula:

.: Speed = \frac{Distance}{Time}

Distance = 150 km and Time = 2.5 hours

Speed = \frac{150}{2.5}

            = \frac{1500}{25}  (Removed decimal from 2.5 and added one 0 to 150)

Speed = 60 Km/h

Hence, you need to travel at 60 km/h to cover 150 km distance to your cousin's house in 2.5 hours.

i.e., Increase the speed by 10 km/h.
