You are Lee Pang of Darjeeling.During the Christmas holidays, you happen to visit several places in South India. You were very much impressed by their culture, traditions, manners, food, clothing etc. You found that there is a lot of difference between the culture traditions etc. of India and your traditions culture etc. This shows India is a land of 'Unity in Diversity'. You decide to send an e-mail to your pen friend Garrett of Berlin describing the "Incredible India". Write the email in about 120-150 words.

Dear Garrett,

India was amazing! Their cultures were quite different from mine, but I quite enjoy them. It's always festive there, and everyone's so full of passion! A very interesting thing I found out while I was in India was that there are things called joint families. This means the entire family, no matter how big, all live in the same house! Another thing is that they value cows very much. In Hindu culture, the cow is considered to be a holy animal.

They also have delicious food! Some of the traditional foods that they have are Rogan Josh (a lamb curry), Makki ki Roti and Sarson ka Saag (corn flour bread and a mustard leaf based dish), and Vada Pav (a vegetarian fusion of potato patty, chilli and other spices sandwiched in a bread roll). They were all very delicious.

Some clothing customs in India aren't typical where I come from, but very beautiful. Women can wear a Sari, and men wear a Sherwani. They are beautiful pieces of clothing.

Well, I had a blast on my trip to India. It was fantastic! Talk to you soon!
