Dear Diary,
Last week I went to my aunt's place which is in Delhi. It was the first time that I went to a metro city. I was very excited to go there and explore the way of living in Delhi. After getting down from the train we went to the metro station. When we went to the metro station, it was a very different experience. It was very clean and well structured. After going inside my father bought tickets for everyone. We have to undergo the process of check-in of both ourselves and the luggage we had. I was very excited to experience the moving in the escalator. The door of the metro opened automatically and closed after a fixed time. It was a very pleasing and different experience traveling in the metro. We reached my aunt's house in just 20 minutes.

I reached the Rajiv Chowk Metro station at 3 PM. It was a spanking-clean station, with enough ticket-windows to purchase tickets from. Being my first Metro ride, I was really excited. I bought a ticket for HUDA City Centre and moved towards the assigned platform, going through a turnstile and taking the escalator.
I was happy to see that every nook and cranny of the station was kept clean and there were maintenance staff, taking care of matters efficiently. There were enough displays and clear announcements regarding arrival and departure of trains. The Yellow Line train, came to the platform at 3:10 PM sharp, the doors slid open and there I was, inside a clean carriage! The ride was very smooth and pleasant, which I enjoyed thoroughly. I would recommend the Delhi Metro to anyone!
