Answer:

THE IMPORTANCE OF AFFORESTATION & MAINTAINING A GREEN COVER IN THE COUNTRY

Global warming is a man-made event. And only we can help ourselves. We have been cutting trees and clearing forests for our benefit without realizing the fact that this activity will in return bite us. The deforested lands have been used for crop cultivation, shelter,  etc. We did not compensate by planting more trees. Plants help to absorb carbon dioxide and give us oxygen in return. Not only just carbon dioxide but plants also help us by absorbing other gases that living beings do not need. Trees help to cool the earth and thereby manipulating the temperature. It is no secret that places with more trees are cooler than places with less or no trees. Hence, we need to plant trees to control the temperature globally for the welfare of the living being on earth. It is extremely important to plant trees if we want to live and safeguard the interest of the future generation. We need to act sensible and start using eco-friendly products. Being a vegan is not enough if we keep harming the trees around us. Hence, it is safe to conclude that afforestation and maintaining a green cover in the country are essential to prevent global warming.
