Good morning everyone!
I, Meena of class 8, want you to imagine yourself in a huge desert. You are terribly thirsty, but there is no water, only sand all around. The sun is shining brightly and you are directionless. There is no way out! Did that make you uncomfortable?
Well, that is exactly what we are heading towards. If we humans continue chopping down trees to fulfill our desires, there will be no trees left. No trees means no rain. No rain means no water. This, coupled with global warming will turn the world into a global desert, and us into roasted mummies!
And by the way, no trees would also mean no oxygen and no life. We need to stop and think if this is what we plan for our future.
