Sunday.
It was a pleasant Sunday morning when we had bought a new female beagle puppy home. The puppy was only 3 weeks old and was such a cutie! All my family members were super excited seeing her and the moment she was brought home, each person in my family wanted to hold her and play with her.
The entry of the beagle puppy to our home added so much warmth and fun that we named her ‘Joy’. Being the first day and away from her mother and siblings, Joy was completely restless and kept whimpering all through. So, we all decided to give her undivided attention, spending time showing her around the house, feeding her and playing with her so that she soon feels at home.
My sister made a beautiful crate for Joy that had a satin pillow, a chew toy, and a familiar smelling blanket. The crate was placed in our room so that Joy is not alone and feels secure with our presence around her. The whole day went with being with Joy and none of us for a moment could take our hands off her. And looking at the joy it felt that the companionship and happiness which would be obvious as Joy grows up together with us would definitely warm our hearts.
