Regarding the water logging problem in
my area.
Sir/Ma'am,
I am Manoj Shastri, a resident of Machna Colony, Indore, M.P. I would like to bring to your kind notice the issue of water logging in my area. The quality of drainage system and the roads is very poor in my area. The water gets overflowed even when it isn't the rainy season. The water from the sewer gets spread all over the road, thus producing a foul smell and creating an unhealthy environment for the people living there and the passers by as well.
The roads built are of poor quality. It has many potholes and the water which gets overflowed from the sewer gets collected in these potholes for several days, thus leading to mosquitoes and other insects which later affects the health of the people.
Waterlogging is not only dangerous for humans but it also affects the nature like trees and soil fertility in a negative way. It lowers the level of oxygen in the roots of the plants, thus affecting the growth of the plants.
There are other consequences as well which can be listed which arises due to waterlogging issue. It affects badly when it is not the monsoon. You can clearly imagine the situation when the nsoon hits our place. It gets more worse and problematic.
It is a humble request to you to kindly look into the issue and solve this problem as soon as possible. We all residents will be really grateful to you.
