Launched on 07 December 2002, Delhi Public School, Secunderabad was inaugurated on July 08 2003. The school commenced with a mere 192 students who were led to school by eager and enthusiastic parents. The then Chairman of DPS Society Shri. Narendra Kumar laid the foundation stone in the presence of Prof. Umma Reddy Venkateshwarlu garu, Chairman, Vidyananda Educational Society.
The DPS Society is headed by Shri. Ashok Chandra under whose stewardship the school has grown from strength to strength. Luminaries like Mr. Pramod Grover, Prof. B.P. Khandelwal and Admiral Chopra provide direction and support from time to time.
