Dear Sir,
I, on behalf of the honourable citizens of India like to request you to circulate the issue of extreme distress of the child labour in India through your esteemed Newspaper.
I, while passing a construction few days back, site by car found a group of very young Childlabour in the site.
They were working in the site carrying construction materials on head under the scorching sun. The issue of Child labour is an acuteproblem, and but it is the worst situation in India. T
he work often exerts undue physical, social, or psychological stress.
It also hampersto avail education with provision of mid-day meal provided by government of India.
This a detrimental issue to social and psychological development.
Statistical survey report recently estimated that 211 million children, of age group aged 5-14, are active worldwide. 60% of these working in Asia including India.The child labour are exposed to hi
gh risk and incidence of work-related injuries are very common.
Child workers also employed in factories and are exposed to high risk caused by cuts and burns.
Although many reforms have been formulated by government but most of the cases these are not implemented due to lack of supervision.I, therefore urge to highlight child labour issue through your newspaper which is circulated all over India.
