"Witnessed Chhath Rituals"
It is bliss to enjoy festivity in your own village. This year, I am encountering “Chhath Puja” for the first time. It is a festival that is devoted to the Hindu God- Sun, for giving us energy and sustaining life on this Earth. It is a four day festival in which the first day, women bathe and eat with Ganga Water to prepare “prasad” at their homes. The second day is the longest because women fast for all day and eat “rasiao kheer” and “puris” at night. Then, I saw the women on 3rd day that they don't even consume water for the whole day as a part of fasting. On the final day, women wake up early in the morning to worship the sun. After this ritual, the women take blessings from their elders and break the fast by consuming water and ginger. The pooja is organised in regards to the divine Sun. Alongside; it is a festival of high compassion and forgiveness.
I really enjoyed this festival season because it feels great to see devotion among men and women. Moreover, I am feeling peace inside me after encountering all of this by myself.

Dear diary,
This festival is a big festival. Its a four day festival. Here womrn keep fast and in evening they eat kheer and poori
Third day fast is very tough as you have to keep a complete water less vrat
On fourth day, people wake up very early before sunrise and they worship Sun by offering water to sun and complete the Chhath. pooja.Though. it's a tough pooja but it's performed with full dedication.
Goodnight dear diary
