You are on your way from school suddenly the sky turns dark with flashes of light describe the sight of the thunderstorm with a  suitable title as well

Explanation:

                        A Storm to Remember

  • The most memorable at the same time fearful storm for me was perhaps one of the briefest storms my sister and I had experienced. It was like any other storm with rain,  lightning, thunder, and strong wind.  As I was getting back from school heading towards home with my sister, the rain began to fall. I was irritant that it all had to happen, when I was almost reaching home.
  • The bursts of lightning that streaked across the sky like light lines in clouds disrupted my annoyance and frustration. With an earth-shattering roar, lightning cleaved through the sky. The burst of light was quickly accompanied by a rumble of thunder. This left me a little anxious, but I found myself in awe, given the usual fear of thunder and lightning, that thunderstorms are powerful and majestic.
  • But suddenly that awe turned to fear when a second bolt of lightning struck, momentarily giving us the light of day. I was afraid that another bolt of lightning would hit the ground. I was afraid that next time it would be closer to us and may be strike me and my sister.
  • Another lightning struck a distant tree and the next moment the tree burst into vibrant flames; torrents of rain poured on to it, causing steam to fill the air. The other trees  were swaying and moaning in the furious wind, as if they  were mourning the loss of their fellow tree.
  • I did not want to waste my time staying on the rain. Despite the rain continuing to pour heavily,  me and my sister ran as fast as possible. Luckily, my house was not very far from the place where this incident happened and hence I could reach my home safely.
  • As soon as my sister and I got near our home, it did not matter how heavy the rain was, we broke into a sprint and dashed into our house - without wasting a single second. It was only under a strong roof and surrounded by four, sturdy walls that me and my sister were able to feel safe from the storm.
