You are one of the regular visitors to public places such as government libraries and public parks. You are disappointed to see the unkempt surroundings. Write a letter to the Deputy Commissioner requesting him to look into the matter.

Subject :- Unkempt conditions in govt. libraries and public parks.

Dear Sir,

Kindly publish the following views of mine in the column of your esteemed daily.

It is a matter of great regret that public places in this beautiful city have become very dirty and unhygienic. The visitors to this public places like govt. libraries, and public parks are forced to bear with this conditions. Public parks have become dumping places of garbage and the other domestic refuse. Residents don't hesitate to throw them wherever they like. Then these parks are overgrown with wild plants and grass. They have not been kept dressed for long. The result is that the visitors avoid going to these public parks.

The condition of govt. libraries is equally bad. All around there are small mounds of garbage, rubber etc. Pits dug here and there pose a danger to the visitors. The furniture inside the reading hall is almost broken. It has not been polished for long. Books lie here and there. This library become dumping places.

I would like to request you kindly to look into the matter and restore the dignity of these public places without any delay.

Yours faithfully
