Accompanied by a family member, Asma Mehendi went from one hospital to another after being denied admission by three others.They first went to Bilal Hospital. After being denied admission, Asma went to Prime Criticare Hospital and Universal Hospital. All three hospitals refused to admit her.Moving from one hospital to another during her labour pain, Asma died in the autorickshaw itself.The family members approached Mumbra Police Station and filed FIRs against all three hospitals. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ram Kadam, too, has tweeted a video of the incident.Terming the incident as "shocking and unfortunate", Ram Kadam attacked the Maharashtra government and said the woman died on road after not being admitted by the hospitals."Nothing is being done even after several appeals to the Maharashtra government. Patients in Mumbai are not getting beds and they are dying like this on road. Maharashtra government is a complete failure," he said.Also Watch
