• Life without values is like a rudeless ship. Our values direct our thoughts , words and actions.They are important because they help us to grow and develop. Values are the constitution of our life which help us to distinguish between right and wrong. They are necessary for building a good moral character. Thus value education is essential for the holistic development of the children.

• Although value education is rooted in Indian philosophy and culture and ingrained in every tradition of Indian culture yet we have been forgetting our values. Various aspects of morality such as loyality , courage, discipline, self sacrifice, tolerance, cooperation etc seem to have vanished somewhere in the present past faced life. Crimes are increasing in society and children are getting directionless. In this context imparting value education to our young generation become all the more important. Thus value education should be given top priority for the development of a corruption free and crime fee society

• Education is not only for being successful in life it is also for being good human being...
