ammonium chloride is a sublimating substance so you can separate it using the technique of sublimation. the iron fillings does not sublimating substance though they remain as residue.

You can separate iron manually .
For seperating ammonium chloride start heating the mixture , the ammonium will be deposite on the walls of the funnel .
And then boil the mixture the sodium chloride will be separated and soil will be left .
Thus the all particles will be separated .
