You are provided with a mixture of a salt, sand and water. write the steps involved in the seperation of salt, sand and water.

Oil being immiscible and less dense than water will float on top, so it can be easily removed by scooping it out from water. <br> Sand will sink at the bottom, Salt will dissovle in water, so filter this solution thereby separating the sand particles then let the water evaporate to reclain the salt.
