Heat the solution by using the process of distillation, napthalene will sublimate ( change directly to gas) and collect it in another beaker.

if we would heat the mix. kept in a petri dish and covered with a inverted funnel whose end is blocked by some cotton , the napthalene will sublime and get deposited on the inner walls of the inverted funnel after it cools down , whereas the common salt will remain as it is .
Hence they would get separated.
