you are provided with three clear and colorless liquids in three different test tubes.how will you identify which test tube contains acid,a base or water?

With the help of a pH scale . If the liquid shows marking below 7 then it is a acid . When it shows marking above 7 to 14 then it is a base and an alkaline substance . If the marking show exact 7 then it is water .

By pH paper we can identify is it a base , acid or salt .If the color of pH paper changes to red then it is acid or if it changes to blue it is base or if it remains same as it was before then it is a salt.
