you are provided with three test tubes A, B and C containing HCL, CH3COOH and Ca(OH)2 respectively. Add two drops of methyl orange to each of these test tubes. write the observation.

Hi , there !!

when acid are added in methyl orange it turns " Red "

hence in HCl and CH3COOH it turn Red because these are acid ,

in case of Ca( OH)2 it turns in yellow colour because it is metal oxide which is basic in nature .
