You are provided with three test tubes A,B,C which contain
distilled water, acidic and basic solutions. If you are given
blue litmus paper only, how will you identify the nature of
the solutions in three test tubes?

when you put it in an acid, it will turn red.

After that if you put it in base, it will turn blue again

In distilled water, no change will occur

Explanation:

If the colour of red litmus does not change then it is acid. If the colour of red litmus changes to blue then it is base. If there is slight change in the colour of red litmus (such as purple) then it is distilled water.
