Explanation:

Dear Sir,

I am a resident of Kolkata, who has come for a two years job recently in New Delhi.

While starting out my new job,I have come across a newspaper of yours in my home, which stated that Supreme Court has taken necessary steps to pass a order which furnishes every citizen with the duty to look after their parents.

I have realised it's importance. Nowadays, very few children heed to look after their parents and take their duties, their responsibilities. Though they have a place to keep pets in their house, their parents turn out to be their burden, thus sending them to Old Age home as the alternative..

This is due to the selfishness and relentless behavior of us towards our parents. We feel that we were dependent and were tied with the shackles of the admonition of our parents. As we are released, we are active to firstly throw them out of our house as a mark of the disposal of wastes.

This should be prevented. We could not forget that parents are those who guard us like the Himalayas from the bitterly cold influence of the evil and protect us from any perilous hurdles that obstruct our success.

I wish you could kindly help me with the initiative to preach this message so that every dreary chamber of the hearts of parents are filled with the sunshine of love.

Thanking you,

Yours faithfully,

Rachna Pandey

subject- Views on the verdict of the supreme court

Dear Sir,

This is Rachna Sen, a local householder, managing a residentiary in the Rohini area. I saw disclaimers that citizens and natives are welcome to share their views on the recent verdict of the supreme court and that happened to make me write this letter.

Parents when are old need the support and affection of their sons and daughters. It is evident that in multiple affairs, the children live at a separate place, for career purposes and other reasons away from their parents, divided by state or even overseas borders. As much as the parents need the care of their children at this delicate age, the children need to secure their future for taking care of their family. It is a great initiative of the supreme court to unite the family but at the same time the strict tone of the verdict that says ' they will have no right of inheritance' also pressurizes the children. They might be living away under compulsion but should manage their responsibilities at the same time. Taking care of parents and inheritance should not be linked as it should be performed with utmost affection and unconditionally. Children should not be conditioned with something in return. Children leaving away from their parents, take care of them at the same time and if they don't they should be penalized.

These were my opinions and views over the verdict. I have my old parents to take care of and I completely relate to this particular verdict.

Yours sincerely

Rachna,

A native.
