Subject: Need to check lockdown rule violations

Dear Sir

The purpose of this letter is to highlight the carefree attitude of individuals of Karol Baug, in the face of the pandemic. Despite there being clear rules to be followed during the lockdown period, people are openly violating these guidelines. Precautions are not being taken and people are busy socialising. Such self-centered behaviour is causing a spike in the numbers. The police too seems unconcerned about penalising the violators. Both the authorities and general public need to take action. Each individual needs to consciously contribute towards the wellness of the nation, simply by staying home and taking precautions. I hope the citizens understand the risk they pose to themselves and society and mend their ways.

Yours sincerely

Rajeshree Gupta

Hope that you are fine and safe in this pandemic crisis. I am a resident of Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi and i would like to inform about the disobedience to the precautionary measures of Covid 19 and SOP's set by Indian government, that can be seen in our locality. The people here are not taking it seriously and not only they are risking their lives but also the lives of other people.

I strongly request you to raise this concern in your newspaper so that some government person can take notice of this
