Blue Cross Society, City organized cultural evening to raise funds to support the local animal shelters. Talented students from various schools presented mesmerizing cultural events such as dances, plays, magic show, etc.
Mr. Shubham Sungla, the Mayor of the city was the chief guest. He donated ₹ 100000/- to the society. The people who had come to see the program also donated liberally.
At the end Mr. Upendra Jain, the director of the Blue Cross Society thanked the chief-guest, dignitaries, and parents for having spared their time to attend the event; he also thanked students, teachers who had made the event possible. The collected money will be spent on animal welfare projects.

The Blue Cross Society organized a cultural show on 15th August at Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan. This show was organized to collect funds to facilitate the working of fifteen animal shelters in the Kalakshetra zone. There are about fifteen to twenty animal shelters across the Kalakshetra area.
These shelters accommodate dogs, cats, cows, guinea pigs, rabbits, and a few birds. With the increasing costs, it has been difficult to take care of all the expenses. The cultural event was organized to fund the running of these shelters.
The cultural event was a great hit. It had a light music performance by Sri. R.K.Shriram and party. In addition, there were games and food stalls. There were a few stalls explaining the needs of these shelters. On behalf of the Blue Cross Society of India, Mr. Singh delivered the vote of thanks.
