Dear Diary,

This is the first time I went for polling today. As I have turned 18, I was very curios to vote the leader of my state. So, for the past one month, I started collecting information about the parties, heads of the parties, their services to the society, their speeches and so on. It made me more enthusiastic to know a lot about them and when the Election Commission announce its Election date, I was curious.

Today, I went to the poll allotted for me with my Aadhar card and voted my poll. I saw many people standing in a queue. I watched many parties’ symbols and their names with the parties’ names displayed on the walls and everywhere on the streets. The officers in the poll, checked my identity card with the name list of voters and inked my index finger with the sealed ink for identification and then allowed me to poll my vote. I felt thrilled when I gave my polling. Hoping for the brightest future.
