Subject - Expressing my concern regarding the increased rates of road accidents in Bareilly.
Respected Sir/Madam,
Through the esteemed column of your newspaper, I would like to express my concern regarding the increased rates of road mishap, reckless driving and accidents in Bareilly.
As per the records it is seen that Bareilly's streets were safer for its residents back 5-6 years than it is now. Everyday, the newspaper is filled with accident reports which occurred in Bareilly. It is very risky for the children and senior citizens to walk peacefully on the roads. Though the government is doing their job perfectly but still there is no change. The teenagers who are not legally allowed to drive are seen driving recklessly on the roads which is harmful for them and even the residents.
As most of the people have already forgot about the basic traffic rules, one has to face traffic jams at the junction roads. The traffic and accidents had also affected the public transports. Due to the traffic, the lazy bus drivers don't follow their route and skip most of the stops. This is forcing the people to take only one bus and overcrowd it.
I request the authorities to please look into the issue which the Bareilly residents are facing and take required actions.
Yours Sincerely,
Ramesh
