Dear Diary:
I am going to share with you my sadness tonight. Another victim has fallen prey to the man eater in Tirathpur. He has killed 10 human beings and 12 animals so far. The local people are living in scare day and night. They have contacted the Forest Department officials and the Collector for help. However, no help has reached them yet. The man eater is still at large. A few of the villages adjoin to the forest have been evacuated. The collector had assured all help at a press meeting; but situation remains grim. A month has passed but no concrete action has been taken. There is always bureaucratic hassle that impedes all proceedings. A good hunter 8is also not available. People have become very angry at the Home Minister who is not able to help the people of his own constituency.

Ranikhet.
Today after a long time I am writing note into diary. I can’t stop thinking about a tiger on a rampage in Tirathpur, who had killed around 12 animals and 10 human beings. Local hilly people are normally fearless but after this incident they are under severe shock. As a forest officer I contacted collector and Forest Department Officials who tried to capture the violent tiger into the trap but were not successful.
A few villages are vacated due the threat of man-eater tiger. In the press conference, The collector assured help to the affected villages but in reality the villagers are facing the same problem. Still the matter is not resolved as the officials failed to find a good hunter to kill the tiger on a rampage.
As a forest officer I tried my best to find the solution but the matter is now trapped in bureaucratic hassles. Villagers are getting angry day by day. They have to suffer more due to the negligence of Home Minister in this matter.
