Sir,
This letter is to gather your attention about the growing rate of kidnapping that is taking place in Kolkata.
Every day we hear that children of all ages, mostly girls are kidnapped while returning from school or any other places where they are not accompanied by their parents.
Such news has instigated fear in us, and we feel extremely scared to step out of our houses.
I am a student of class VIII and my sister is of class II and both of us go to school and return from together alone as our parents are working professionals.
But the recent abduction cases have generated fear in my parents and me as well which is hampering our normal lives.
I hope that through this letter, the Kolkata Police will come forward and take necessary actions to deal with this problem .
