You are Reshmi Anand, a class 10 student from Ludhiana. You read a school's academic course booklet and discover several vocational courses for senior secondary school students. You wonder why most schools do not offer the subjects. Write a letter in not more than 100-120 words to the editor the daily Ludhiana on the need for skill based education in schools. the editor,
The Ludhiana,
Ludhiana,
Subject: the need for skill for basic education.

Sir/Madam,
Through the columns, I would like to express the need for basic skill education and notify the public the importance of this.

Students in secondary school usually do not get vocational subjects for study in most of the schools available today. This makes their knowledge limited and in some cases stop their creativity. Modern schools do not realize the need of vocational subjects and so do parents. Introducing vocational subjects/courses would help them in all the ways.
schools stop the additional subjects before they enter senior secondary school.

I hereby request all the schools to add vocational subjects in their curriculum.

Yours truly,
Reshmi Anand
