It has been a long time since we exchanged letters. In this letter I am giving you an exhilarating experience of my camping trip.

I, along with six school mates, went camping to Bir in Himachal Pradesh. It was a seven-day trip. We went to Delhi by train and after a day's stay left for Bir early in the morning by bus and reached there by evening. We camped out in the woods. The nights were mostly clear and we enjoyed the beauty of the moon, the stars and the sky, It was wonderful to see the night sky, as there was not an iota of pollution in the hill area. We also sat around the camp fire and told stories and jokes.

We went for long walks and also went trekking. The natural beauty of this place is really worth seeing. There are pine trees all around Bir and a small river flows, winding its way through the valleys and hills. As this place is very calm and quiet, we could very clearly hear the chirping of birds and movement of the water.

It was realty a great time for all of us. I wish you were with us. When you come to Ahmedabad next time, we shall plan a similarcamping trip again.

Dear Uncle,

I am fine and I hope this letter of mine will find you and Aunty in good health and spirits.You will glad to know that last month,I went  Spiti Valley(in Himachal Pradesh) for camping along with friends and teachers which was oraganised by my school.It is one of the desired camping sites for adventure enthusiasts and trekkers.

At night my friends and I went for a long walks and even went trekking.The most exciting part of the trip was when I and my friend got lost.After searching for three hours we found a landmark and  eventually,our camp site.Getting lost is little embarrassing so we really didn’t tell to anyone.

It was one of my best camping trip,I enjoyed a lot with my  friends and teachers.It was one of my great experience.

I had a great time.It would me much more fun if you would also come there and spend night .I hope we will go to Spiti Valley one day with our family.
