Subject: Pollution free Diwali
Sir:
I am writing this letter to express my anguish and annoyance over the problems caused by loud noise pollution, and horrific air pollution caused during Diwali celebrations. Crackers cause immense pollution. Not only this pollution is dangerous for human beings, it is exceedingly terrifying for animals. Domestic animals get so terrified that they hide themselves in the safest possible rooms or under beds. I have seen my pet shivering badly during the mad chaos during Diwali.
Through the medium of your reputed daily I appeal to people and the concerned authorities to look into it and do something in this regard. The general pollution level has already become so critical. Do we need a large scale environmental catastrophe to be careful and wise?
Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I appeal to the public to celebrate Diwali without using crackers.
Thanking you,
Yours truly,
Rohit and Dhoni
