You are Sachin/Sneha residing in Sector-45, 4th cross road New

Delhi. You have noticed some residents of your colony are repeatedly

flouting the Swachta Campaign making the entire locality a haven for

mosquitoes and rats. Write a letter to the municipal commissioner in

100-150 words drawing attention towards the problem.

Subject: Swachta Rules Flouted in our Colony

I am writing this letter to bring to your kind notice the problem of colony residents throwing waste here and there. Though there many garbage bins put up by the Municipal Corporation, but these bins remain choked to brim! The garbage man does not clean them regularly. As a result they remain stuffed and stinking for days. Dogs have a great time rummaging these bins! But it creates unnecessary litter in the colony at all times. the entire locality has become a haven for mosquitoes and rats.

The entire nation is busy doing cleanliness work in Sawchh Bharat Abhiyan; and quite ironically our locality is littered with stale garbage. I don’t need to elaborate on many ill-effects of this garbage on the health of the children and residents of the colony. I appeal to you to look into the matter and do something in this regard. We must maintain cleanliness in our locality. Our children suffer the most! They have to move around and play with uncleaned garbage lying around them. I hope you will look into the matter promptly.

Yours truly,

Sneha
