Selfie mania gone wrong
The trend of clicking a selfie whenever and wherever we are has taken over the minds and lifestyles of everyone in society. Not a day goes by without having posted a selfie of us visiting someplace or even staying at home doing absolutely nothing. However, this selfie mania comes with tons of hazards.
It makes people addicted to looking good and portraying a lifestyle on social media which might not be true. It can also be dangerous to our life. Recently while visiting the Sardar Sarovar Dam with my friends for a picnic, I happened to witness a dreadful incident. Two boys who were trying to click a selfie t the edge of the dam ended up losing their balance and falling into the river. Although both of them survived, it was a very traumatising event. Such fatal incidents can happen anywhere if we are not careful. Selfie mania should be kept in check, and not overwhelm us.
