Subject: Improving facilities for second class travelers

Sir:

I am writing to your good self to bring to the notice of the railway authorities the sub-standard facilities being provided to the second-class travelers. In spite of earmarking such a hefty railway budget by the Railway Ministry, the travelers just get very poor facilities. Dirty coaches, worn out bunks, stinking toilets, sloppy food, and many more things.

Train 18 is a commendable initiative taken by the Government in this regard; but its cost is unaffordable for ordinary people. Similar initiatives, keeping in mind the average Indians, should also be introduced.

Through the medium of your esteemed daily I appeal to the concerned authorities to look into the problem and improve the standard of facilities being provided to second-class travelers. I hope you will give my views enough space in your esteemed daily.

Thanking you.

Yours truly,

Sarabjit Singh

sir

Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, i wish to invite the attention of the railway authorities to the deplorable conditions of the second class..

The first thing one notice is the dirty and unhygienic condition of the compartment.Foul smell greets a passenger as he boards the train. Washrooms are not properly cleaned. Nobody ever checks the starting station whether the compartments have been cleaned properly or not. The passengers themselves behave most unsocial by spitting or by allowing children to urinate  wherever they like. The second class travelers comforts should, therefore, be given priority over other classes.

It is high time that the railway board should realize their responsibilities.  I request the concerned authorities to look into this matter and solve the problem as early as possible.

Yours faithfully

Sarabjit singh
