Nowadays, the water shortage has become a serious issue not only in our locality but throughout the world. We can see the most recent example of water disputes with China and Pakistan, though the condition of India is favourable, we the people of India must be aware of consuming water to save our water reservoirs for the future generation. Therefore, being the Secretary of the housing society, I request you to save water not just for us but for our future generation. I am not asking you to cut down all the essential work related to water but requesting you to at least decrease the amount of water by 10 per cent. It will contribute a lot if we take a small initiative of saving 10 per cent of water daily. Water is life, if there is no water on earth, there will be no life on earth. Please, everyone, take a pledge of saving at least 10 per cent of water every day.
