With due respect, I wish to bring a very important matter into your concern. Sir, as you know that whole country is facing lockdown situation and now it is more than 2 months of continuous lockdown in our country. Many people has lost their jobs due to this pandemic and are now without food and shelter. In this hard time, the prices of essential items have gone to their higher level. Even the seasonal vegetables are being sold in the market at higher prices than ever before. Not only the vegetables, fruits, bread, butter and all such essential items are being sold on price higher than the MRP. Sir, it is a very serious matter and even the administration has done nothing in this regard. How a person, who has lost his job due to Covid, will be able to buy essential food items on such a huge price. Some of the poor people residing near our colony, who were working at some construction company before this lockdown, has lost their jobs and now they have no source of income. Now, how they will manage to live their livelihood. Even buying some vegetables for their family, has become a difficult task for them as the prices are so high and presently, it is not possible for them as they have lost source of income. This is all because of black marketing and stock holding by local vendors. A strict action is required to be taken against them. This is the time to show humanity towards the poor people around us but in this worst ever situation, some people are still focusing on earning money only. Kindly publish an article on this important matter in your esteemed publication so that it can knock the door of administration too.
