Dear Diary,
It was a normal Sunday, with me just hanging out and chilling with my friends at our same usual rendevous spot, we ordered coffee and waited while the waiter brought our orders to us. It felt good to be with friends after passing tenth board finals, while we waited for our coffee, I saw in the distance, a car pull up on the bridge and a man getting out of it with tears in his eyes, to my surprise, he climbed and stood on the edge of the bridge with his eyes focused at the sky with his eyes dwelling up with even more tears, in that instance, I knew something was definitely wrong so I forgot about my friends and ran to help that man.
upon being asked what he was doing, he said that he had no reason to live and that he had no purpose in life any longer, so he decided to commit suicide. he told me that he was doing so because he lost his lover to a car accident and she was all that he had.
I was could see the pain in his eyes, I told him to get off the edge and listen to what I have to say, I told him that life doesn't get over because of this, I told him that the girl he loved would never want him to end his life just for her. she would want to see him grow into a strong man and fulfill his dreams. I told him that his parents would be so heart broken when they'll hear about his death.
This is how I saved a Life today.
