Dear diary,

You know what happened today? I got selected in the school play for children's day! And what is more exciting is that the teacher has selected me to play the lead role! I cannot express to you how happy I am cause I really worked hard for the auditions. I never thought that I would be selected for the lead role. I was totally surprised to hear the news from my teacher. The moment I realised that whatever she was telling was absolutely true, I was on cloud nine! Wish me luck so that I can prove myself worthy of the selection.
