You are supplied with a concentrated solution of Na2CrO4.How will you obtain K2Cr2O7 from this ?Write the equation involved.​

Answer:

Na2Cr2O7(Conc.) + 2KCl ----> K2Cr207 + 2NaCl

Explanation:

Here in above reaction, Potassium Chloride is Mixed with Conc. Na2Cr2O7 after reaction NaCl percipitates out on Hot Solution and is removed by Filteration. On cooling, potassium dichromate separates out from mother liqour.
