Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is Calla Balls, who will have an interview in October 15th 2019 with Human resources department. I am writing to offer my apologies for not going on an interview on that day.I would like you can arrange a different day for interview.

I have found myself in this unpleasant situation for a reason. My father just call me and tell that my mother has been a heavy illness. She has been in hospital. I am worried about her condition. I took a flight to return my home and take care her. Her doctor said that she need three weeks to recuperate. I will come back in October 20th and I will be ready for an interview.

I am of course very interested in the position you offer me and I feel that I can apply my skills and experience in your company, so I would be very grateful if we could set a new date that fits your schedule.

Once again, please accept my sincere apologies for inconvenience caused.
